TREATMENT GLOSSARY
What do these names mean?
A short explanation of the treatments on our price list - so you know what you are booking.
Hair
See in the price list →- AIRTOUCH
- A hair-lightening technique that uses a stream of air to blow away thinner, weaker strands before the lightener is applied only to the thicker hair. The result is a soft, natural colour gradient, less damage, and regrowth that stays looking neat for longer.
- Single-tone colouring
- A uniform, single-shade colour applied along the full length of the hair from root to tip - most often chosen to even out colour or fully cover grey.
- Multi-tone colouring
- Combining several shades in one colouring service to create depth, dimension and naturally looking light strands instead of one flat colour.
- Hair toning
- A gentle deposit of pigment that corrects the shade (e.g. neutralises yellow tones in blond) and adds shine without a permanent colour change. Ideal as a refresh between full colour services.
- Highlights
- Lightening selected strands to add light and dimension without changing the whole colour. Regrowth is soft, so the effect ages more gracefully than all-over colour.
- Total blond
- Full lightening of all the hair to a light blond, roots to ends. A demanding service performed with bond protection and usually finished with a toner for a clean shade.
- Colour contouring
- Brightening the strands that frame the face, matched to its shape - like makeup done with hair colour. Subtly sculpts the features with minimal intervention.
- Black colour removal
- The gradual, safe removal of dark pigment from hair dyed black or very dark. The process is sometimes spread over several visits to protect hair condition.
- JOICO / Olaplex repair
- A professional treatment that rebuilds the hair's inner bonds weakened by colouring, lightening or heat styling. Hair regains elasticity, smoothness and shine.
- Perm
- A chemical, lasting curl or wave that holds for many weeks. Offered on our price list as a men's service.
- Blow-dry styling
- Drying and shaping the hair with a brush, sleek or voluminous - the finish of a visit or a standalone service before a big event.
Nails
See in the price list →- Hybrid (gel-polish) manicure
- A manicure finished with hybrid gel-polish cured under a UV/LED lamp - chip-resistant with a glossy finish, typically lasting 2-3 weeks.
- Acid / podiatric pedicure
- A pedicure that softens hard skin and calluses with a fruit-acid preparation instead of a file or blade - gentler on the skin, popular for problem heels, usually paired with a SPA treatment.
- Classic manicure
- Shaping the nails and tidying the cuticles without gel-polish - natural, groomed hands. A good choice when nails need a break from coatings.
- Gel nail extensions
- Building longer, strong nails on forms with lamp-cured gel. Shape and length are matched to your nails and lifestyle; an infill follows every 3-4 weeks.
- Polygel overlay
- A thin layer of polygel over the natural nail that protects brittle nails and lets them grow out. Lighter than full extensions, more durable than gel polish alone.
- Babyboomer
- A subtle gradient from milky white tips to natural pink at the base - a softer, modern take on the french. An elegant choice for every day and for weddings.
- French manicure
- The classic: a natural nail with a crisp white tip. A timeless, universal look that suits any occasion.
- Gel-polish pedicure
- Full foot and nail care finished with gel polish, which lasts noticeably longer on toes than on hands - often 4-6 weeks.
Lashes
See in the price list →- 1:1 (classic) lash extensions
- The classic lash-extension method where one synthetic lash is applied to one natural lash - adding length and definition while keeping a natural look.
- Mega Volume lashes
- A volume technique where a fan of several very fine synthetic fibres is applied to each natural lash - giving a dense, dramatically defined finish.
- Volume lashes (1:2-1:6)
- A fan of 2-6 ultra-fine fibres is applied to each natural lash. The higher the ratio, the denser the effect - from natural softness to evening glamour.
- Wet look lashes
- Lashes set in closed, glossy strands that look like freshly combed, mascara-coated lashes. A trendy effect between classic and volume.
- Anime lashes
- Bold clusters placed at regular intervals, inspired by anime heroines. A striking, graphic effect for those who like to stand out.
- Lash tinting
- Darkening the natural lashes to define the eyes without extensions or daily mascara. The effect lasts several weeks.
Brows
See in the price list →- Brow lamination
- A treatment that lifts and sets brow hairs in a chosen direction for several weeks, giving a fuller, more uniform, brushed-up look without makeup.
- Brow henna
- Tinting the brows (and the skin beneath) with henna to add definition, fill in sparser areas and shape the brow line - it lasts longer on skin than on the hairs themselves.
- Lash lift + lash botox
- A treatment that curls and lifts natural lashes from the root for a longer, more open-eyed look, paired with a nourishing lash-botox conditioning treatment for shine and strength.
- Brow shaping
- Shaping the brows to suit your features, with tweezers or wax. The foundation of any brow styling, often combined with henna or dye.
- Facial waxing
- Quick, precise removal of fine hair from the upper lip, chin or the whole face. Skin stays smooth for weeks; regrowth comes in soft.
